"VIPDJ’s Record of the Day: Today’s top tip is a laid back acoustic number from UK based Daniel Schamroth. “Cold Wind Blowing” is a mood setter, with plenty of melodies and emotion. The video perfectly fits the harmonies of the record, and portrays an ambiance and relaxed feel for the listener. Quality music by a newcomer from the country that has birthed so many talented musicians."
"British singer/songwriter Daniel Schamroth’s new Indie-soul single “Cold Wind Blowing” is a song of dreamy melodies and hazy ambiance, built around a soothing guitar rhythm. The emotional pull is quite stunning."

Daniel Schamroth is a singer-songwriter from Devon in the Southwest of England, he has been writing and performing music since his early teens. Daniel has a growing audience in the Southwest, having appeared at various festivals, venues, and showcasing his songs live on local radio sessions such as BBC Radio Devon and Phonic FM. He was commissioned by Ethiad through Australian audio events company Sound Booth, to use a sample from one of his songs, for a promotional trailer for Ethiad Airways. . Daniel has built up a large repertoire of solo material, which present a stripped down acoustic and soulful sound. With influences ranging from Lennon/McCartney and Noel Gallagher through to Stephen Fretwell and Neil Young, there is no doubt that Daniel is both a prolific writer and one who possesses that uncanny gift of creating melodies which on first listen feel comfortingly familiar, yet unmistakably original.
